Well, we're getting a good look at what at least the child-rearing part of D would look like.
W has been visiting her mom for the past week, and I have been home with the boys. These last 2 days are rough because I am trying to both care for them properly, and work, and neither of those tasks are getting done well. The boys are also missing their mom and are asking for her frequently.
Tomorrow she arrives home and I depart immediately for a business trip - 3 days this week and 5 days next - so she will be at home by herself with the boys and also trying to both work and care for them.
You know, I have often thought that D'd life would actually not be all that bad - 50% frantically focusing on the kids, and 50% free to focus on work, myself, a social life, etc. is sounding like a pretty good deal.
