I know this is a legal question that I will cover with my lawyer in the morning again, but what are peoples thoughts on abandonment/leaving the house?
My thoughts are, talk to your lawyer.
Explain to her that your wife is trying to have the best of both worlds: if you go, she wants to accuse you of abandoning her; if you stay, she wants to force you out by accusing you of abuse.
Your lawyer should be able to advise you of the best course of action.
