The divorce took place 10 years ago in the movie. In one part of the movies the kids say something regarding the divorce and S17 mumbles, "Damn it! You left! What did you expect?" So I think it helped me see their side a bit more too. Still though I felt like someone got it, they got me and understood how I felt.

As you all know that is so rare in the real world. Sometimes divorce seems like it is a disease that women are afraid to catch.
