Job's going good. My supervisor told the three of us new trainees in her group that she was excited with our possibilities or something like that, that none of us has the deer in the headlights thing, and we're all just going along fine. So whew!
Got my first paycheck today, well for one week anyway. I'm planning on going shopping tomorrow for clothes and checking out a gym I might join.
I was thinking today (have a long commute) that my life is so totally different in almost every way today from a few years ago, but I think mostly good different. I hope everyone's having a good New Year!!!
X just called me he's going to drop off the check in my mailbox and wanted to know my address which I've given him half a dozen times. Guess he realized since he hasn't mailed it yet, it won't be getting here today or anytime soon, and would look bad in court next month. Don't know why he can't email, or for that matter ask the kids my address. Good that I have the job now, so hopefully can save up bill money, and wage garnish any child support I get. It is nice being independent!
Wondered if he called to see if I was hung over or not or something. I went to bed at 10 last night, and no alcohol, so not even close.
I'm loving my free time this weekend!!! Did some housework, want to do more, and work out today. The gym I want to join has zumba tomorrow, maybe I'll call and see if they'll let me try it out once before joining. It's mostly zumba classes they have evenings and weekends, so if I don't like them, don't know if I would join...

Blue, they do have a Polynesian dance class. I'll have to try it. Zumba is supposed to be some kind of cardio dance class. I wound up going to the bank this am instead, but will try it later this week. I've talked to several that have liked it; it's supposed to be fun. If not, they have ellipticals and weights and stuff like that also.
I signed up today and bought a new pair of sneakers, and got a new haircut too. I feel guilty when I spend money on myself, but haven't in so many years, I don't think I should really. My whole life is a complete 180 at this point it seems.
Orange juice for sure. It's going down to the 20s here the next couple days, so I think I'm about to make something hot for me. Brrrr...Blue, I know you think I'm the biggest wimp, but I'm originally from south Florida. Maybe Alaska might be a tad cold for me.
