He thinks H might be feeling differently, but because he thinks I have someone else, and don't care about H anymore, H will move on too.

I'm all for mystery, but I am torn. He stopped acting like an ass when he started thinking I had a man. If I don't come clean, he will think I spent the weekend ... someone else.

Know exactly how you feel, SG. Spouse thinking you have someone else seems like a ticket out of guiltville for him/her. Been there. I know my W and she is dying for any relief from her guilt.
But here’s the deal. You don’t want him coming back because he feels guilty. That’ll never work in the end, right? He’ll do it grudgingly and in time things will go right back to the way they are now.
As hard as it is to do, don’t worry about what he thinks. You can’t control it and it trying will only make you crazy.
