We caved for the girls since I won't have them this weekend. Went to see those annoying Chipmunks! I wanted to go see Sherlock Holmes tonight but my movie pass kid isn't up for another movie.
As the movie was almost over, the fire alarm goes off and everyone has to clear out but then we are able to go right back in. Wohoo excitement! The best part is we found out that the theater changed the rules and now you can have the employee and two guests in free as opposed to just one. I tell you he has got me into more movies but I still have to do the snacks.
He has promised to take me to "It's Complicated" and "Have you met the Morgan's?".

My son went to see Sherlock Holmes today with a friend. I'm so bummed...I wanted to go see it with him. Had to work.
It's Complicated and The Morgans are two I want to see too. They look great. A friend of mine saw It's Complicated and said it lived up to her expectations. She laughed, cried, sighed, laughed some more. Sounds GREAT!
I forgot you had movie access. That's awesome. Marc and I go and sneak in our snack since they are so crazy expensive. Bad, I know, but I just couldn't ever go the movies otherwise.

I do that too but s17 is always on me that he might get in trouble if we get caught. We won't get caught if the kids don't blab. I usually buy a drink though and feel as if I am being gouged.
With S17's huge text bill, he was able to pay me off more quickly by taking me to a movie. When I was married and even right after the divorce, I rarely had the funds to go very often. It helps a ton when we just the boys and I go. Now the three of us can go for free!! One great benefit that I enjoy.

Lucky you! Free movies is a great perk! When I was a young teen my olders sis's all worked at the movie theater - I got in free and got free popcorn too! yum!!

On the ex front, I did reread the e-mail he sent and I now see that he did ask for an extra evening. I sent him a quick e-mail yesterday saying that was an oversight on my part. I asked that the girls be home last night after his time with them and then have them be back home on thursday since he was fine with my having New Year's Eve. he had been trying to tell me that it was just crazy for him to bring them back for the one night, even though he had offered the night to me.
Anyway, he e-mailed me back and said let's keep it our normal schedule. So a small victory for admitted the error on my part and still sticking to the time he offered. Yeah me!!

Oh this day started and low and has just had to go up! I was stuck on a bunch of ice at the end of my drive and it took over 50 minutes to get unstuck and that was with the boys helping!! Anyway super busy at work. When I ran to do an errand, time got tight so I went to Mickey D's on the way back to work.
In the past whenever I have had a guy flirt with me from there, I have some big connection with flirt guy. Well today I wasn't even thinking and sort of flirted back! I guess I must be getting braver or just tired of nothing changing. Time to shake it up with the New Year. Have an incredible New year's everyone and be safe.
