Hello friends,

For those of you who are so inclined, could I ask you to say a prayer for me? (or send some positive energy my way if that works better for ya! :-) )
I was supposed to be off work (due to the stress of my sitch) until after the holidays and gradually return to FT hours... BUT... there was a "clerical error" and I don't have that time available after all.
So, I've had to return to work, FT immediately and finding it a harder transition than I expected. Was struck almost immediately by "triggers" of being in my office when various realities hit me and when things came into full crisis mode. Plus, no one at work knows what happened, and I don't want them to at this point. I am not ready to talk about things. So, of course there are questions, and I am sure "whispers" about why I've been off, etc. I've been able to be vague and keep to myself but it adds extra stress.
anyway, really struggling with this, so would appreciate it...
thanks so much!

I'm here for ya, and praying for you!!

Tell me this... what was the reason given (documented) for your absence? Health?

God! And, you have all of those teens home on break!

Thanks ((Mind))
It was documented as "personal medical" reasons...
And, the teens.... My H is taking time off work this week and it is about time he took a turn anyway! So, that part is actually good!

Personal Medical - could be anything! Maybe you had a hysterectomy, maybe you had hemmorhoids, maybe you had a piercing gone bad...? RIGHT! LOL

They don't need to know anything.

But, just in case, maybe you should fake a limp!

PS - Just trying to cheer you up!!!

PSS - Yea for the H handling the teens! Hope he doesn't act like mine w/them! He's one of them!

ROFL! grin

It worked, you DID cheer me up!

Yup, "personal medical" could be anything and there is no reason to explain! I don't plan to. People can say what they want, it doesn't matter...

And, re: H's and teens... well, mine can be one of them too! Since the fog seems to be actually lifting, he has been doing much better.

As a matter of fact, H and D13 are on a "father/daughter" date as we speak! (something I suggested ages ago!)

I'm gonna take the work thing day by day ...

Is that D13 in your profile pic? Her eyes are amazing!! She looks a little like my S12, almost 13's new "girlfriend." Gotta love the father/daughter dates. My H does that w/D18 STILL. She lives on her own now, but they still do stuff, and I think it's when she is hungry for a night at a real restaurant!

Also, you could have some fun w/this work thing... How about wearing some "tights"? Like you just had vericose veins done... Or, rig something up on top, like you had a boob job!
