Actually, just to add... 98 perc of time, the procedure works, but it can only work on those that they can isolate the arrhythmia. Only about 50 perc of time can they actually have success isolating the arrhythmia. I'm not a math genius, but I think I'm lucky!

I dont know about your procedure, but in my case they left me on the table for a couple of hours to monitor my heart after the ablation. (I was unconscious for all of this; they just told me about it afterwards.)
Apparently, the tissue they removed can heal in a matter of minutes, so it was easy enough for them to tell if the procedure was a success.
