I don't mind Star Wars movies although I prefer the newest Star Trek.

We ended up playing guitar hero world tour together last night and then we watched Napoleon Dynamite. I crack up at that movie and Marc had never seen it. I had been trying to get him to watch it for a long time and finally convinced him last night. Now all I'm hearing out of him is "Whatever I want to...GOSH!" and the big long sighs under his breath and "Idiot!". So funny!

I went to the store and officially resigned today. Although missing that bit of money will make a few things tougher, it's much better to not have the stress of trying to rearrange schedules and find people to come be with mom when I'm working. She is ok during the day because she sleeps almost the entire day.

I've been invited to a New Year's Eve party at a friend's house. I'd love to go but I'm concerned about mom. I'll talk to her about it later today. She lives nearby so it's easy to run back and forth if I need to.

Oh yeah, forgot, Gabe's youngest sister called me yesterday to play catch up. She is an actress in Hollywood and is constantly on the move so it's hard to get together on the phone. She was calling to thank me for her Christmas present and to chit chat about Marc, what I'm up to, my mom and of course, as she put it, her stupid, dumb-a$$ brother. I gave her the Snuggie story and she was just flabbergasted that he would do something so horribly thoughtless. LOL! Thoughtless should have been his middle name. *sight* I told her that during that lunchtime talk we had I had asked him if he had talked to her or their other sister and he told me that he had not. He had called her a few times but she never called back. He said she hadn't talked to him since the he left me. I found that hard to believe and very unlike her. She told me yesterday that, as usual, he is full of it. She had talked to him a couple of times after he left and even after the D was final. She called him on the carpet regarding several lies she knew he was telling her. He's never called her. She called him around Halloween this year and left him a message telling him that she was sorry that their R was broken and would like to make a fresh start with him. He never called her back.

So sad that he has destroyed his family and broken his R's with his own family. Wow.

I'm totally rambling today aren't I? Sorry. Just feeling a bit lonely but in other ways glad that I am not dealing with his crap anymore. Weird dicotomy.
