Blizzard warning rolls on....

I am so stuffed! I made homemade lasagna and garlic cheese bread for supper. Ate way too much of it! smile

Nathan has been tracking Santa on NORAD, and now he is getting dressed for bed. He can't wait for tomorrow morning to come!

Merry Christmas All! smile

Santa was great to my little ones, they got just what they wanted!!

I made homemade belgian waffles from scratch, they are eating them now with some sausage before we open presents.

The snow is so deep I literally cannot open my front door against it...and it is still coming down, and will be for the next 18 hours... eek Blizzard of 2009 continues!!

Maybe this isn't the time to say that it is supposed to be 61 and sunny today. A little cool, but not bad!

I gotta remember that first liner - NOT!

Isn't the Craigslist casual encounters for that sort of thing? A coworker and I had a good laugh once by checking out the guys on there. I cant believe guys think that closeup shots of that part of a mans body turn women on. There was one guy standing next to the submarine in Portland that I thought was a good subliminal message.

So I take it that because of the wind and extra cold that the snow is too dry to make a good snowman with.

It is 38 degrees here, no wind and not a cloud in the sky.

Merry Christmas all! We never did leave the house today...

Dan was here yesterday evening, then spent the night on the couch, then spent all of today here except an hour or so out checking cows. He left an hour ago to check them again and may or may not come back.

Other than the blizzard, it was a pretty decent day! Kids love their toys, they have played nonstop all day...getting ready to make supper now.

CA emailed me today to wish me a Merry Christmas. He is at his sister's in Chicago with his family. A little nervous about driving back on Sunday. Ironically Nathan was playing on the starwars.com website just not and called me down to watch this funny video...

http://www.starwars.com/video/view/000194.html

It is one that CA actually had submitted and was a finalist for the George Lucas award...cool that it is featured on their website! smile

Hope all of you are warm and safe tonight. Wishing I had some wine but not venturing out for that!

BobbiJo, I'll pour you a virtual glass, red or white?
It's cold and clear near Seattle. The three bears were hoping for snow, but there's not enough moisture in the air.

Well, Santa came a little late but worth the wait...at my family Christmas today I got a bottle of "Effen" Vodka--cherry/vanilla infused vodka from Holland. Lots of "F'in" jokes with that brand...and a bottle of Cabernet. Oh, and some non-alcoholic gifts, too! smile

My folks kept the kids tonight so I came home and rearranged the basement furniture in anticipation of my new flooring.

Note to self: don't move a sectional couch with a pull-out mattress by yourself again. Or a treadmill....

Stubborn BBJ....my lower back hates me. Imagine how it is gonna feel in the morning!

Sorry to all going to work tomorrow, I am still on vay-cay till the New Year!
