I think he cares in an I don't want you, but I'm a little freaked that someone else does kind of way. Plus, he told me one of his co-workers (a woman) told him he was crazy to think someone would actually date him when he has kids. He said she laughed, but he has to realize it's partially true. I would NEVER date a man with 4 young kids. Egads!
He once told me it would be easier for me to remarry, and he's probably right.
