So I am awake this morning, feeling suspicious and anxious.

Had a revisit of an old "red flag". Mrs. T is NOT a morning person and normally drags herself out of bed as late as possible. She has never been a "get up early and work out" type of person EXCEPT during the A when she was meeting OM at the gym - OM IS a "get up early and work out" person.

W's alarm went off EARLY this morning and she got up and went to the Gym. On a holiday, 2 hours before she normally drags herself out of bed.

I see no other signs of anything going on - believe me, my radar is up. I just hate the long term effects that that betrayal is having on me - still anxious and jealous a year later - even when I am ready to walk away myself.

Oh well, I'm not going to let it ruin Christmas or the family day we have planned with the boys today.

I'm up too, but I usually am.

If this is something that is going ro bother you (and it would me), bring it up with her. You have completely valid reasons not to trust her and feel the way you do.

Tell her what you are feeling and why. The alternative is to let it fester inside you.

I agree with GIMA. As always, what's the worst that could happen? At this point, you would almost welcome it.

You are right, Lotus. At this point, I would almost welcome it.

I did (in a friendly way) question the strange behavior and got plausible answers.

I'm not going to bring up my concerns regarding the A and OM because that is a question that will get me nowhere. If (worst case) she was meeting him, then she would just lie about it. If she wasn't, then it would ruin Christmas eve for nothing. There is nothing to gain by asking in this case.

I do, however have my radar up and looking just in case. I broke a long time self-control habit and checked her phone logs - no suspicious calls or texts yesterday or this morning.

I don't think anything is going on. I just hate the lingering feelings of mistrust.

That's because they were never addressed by her.

Merry Christmas Think! Have fun with the boys. My boys are 21 & 18 and I bought some toys just so we can play together again.

Hi All,

Sitting here wrapping presents and setting out the "Santa" gifts together with Mrs. T. In spite of the sitch, we are doing a good job of working together to make this a great xmas for the boys.

Just wanted to take a minute and wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

Thanks for all your help, support and friendship. It has meant the world to me these past 12 months.

-Thinker.
