You so have to detach! You are spending way too much time worrying about who she is with, or what she is doing. Or whether she is manipulating the kids, or.........
Look, you can drive yourself crazy speculating. I mean, let's say your son was trying to manipulate her.... he would tell her just what you heard! Most likely he is playing both ends against the middle, that's what kids do!
As long as you keep reacting to her lashing out, she is going to keep doing it. You are giving her what she wants.
