You mean you actually said you'd like her to go... What a surprise!
I have an idea for dessert (if you like strawberries): 69 cal per person! You can even double the portions!:
Strawberries with mint
Ingredients: 1 lb strawberries, the juice of 1 lemon, sweetener, some fresh mint leaves
Wash the strawberries and take out the leaves and stems, dry them carefully and cut them in four parts. Mix in a bowl the strawberries, lemon juice, sweetener and minced mint. Marinate for 30-40 minutes in the fridge. Serve adorned with some fresh mint leaves.
I even have some more recipes in case you do not like strawberries... Lemon souffle 87 cal/person Peach soft cake 140 cal/person Apple custard 144 cal/person Cinnamon oranges 85 cal/person Blackberry mousse 150 cal/person Berry sherbet 52 cal/person
and so on. Ask away!

Sounds like things are going very well for you. Praise God, that's great! Keep up the good work. I think you are doing a terrific job!
Can I come for dinner? It sounds great!

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Peel the apples and take the seeds out. Beat the eggs in a bowl with the sweetener, milk and vanilla. Put thin slices of apple in the bottom of a large custard mold. Pour the mix of milk and eggs.
Cook in the oven 'au bain-marie' (the mold goes into another with water in it and gets cooked as the water heats) for 40 minutes.

Good luck. I love this cookbook (stole it from my mother ): it has great recipes that are low in carbs and low in calories but great in taste. It was published in the mid80s before the Atkins' craze. Its title is "Lose weight while eating"

Thanks - I will look up the book if I can - I have several other cook books around but always like to find others. Ex and I are both trying to loose weight too (i have lost 20 lbs since the bomb and I want to keep it off.) we have each bought Dr. Phil's new book on loosing weight but have not read it yet. I simply just cut back on what I eat. When I eat out I only eat half of what I get and take the rest in a to go. and at home I try to cut back on cal. and carbs. it seems to be working. (although I do have about $30.00 worth of halloween candy left over that is just sitting in the house. I guess this is an exersice in self control)
