OKAY, comedians... At the risk of spoiling your humor, he didn't see them! I put them on after he had laid down there. He was laying down just for a minute to warm up, and I was sitting on our bed looking up info on the last of the xmas presents, etc... And, he fell asleep! (Now, mind you, he has had about 30 hours of sleep the entire week.)
So, I'm up, and everyone's still asleep.
