S and I went outside on Saturday and played in the snow. He loved it and made his first snowman. Then he had play practice. H called and was a little perturbed I was going with S to play practice, but I reminded him that he said we weren't doing anything so I made plans. We had a little break down, but didn't fight and actually talked things out. H came to the program today and we had a lot of fun.

The good part...we are leaving tomorrow at noon to stay three days, two nights in a suite in Shaumburg. We love going there and it isn't costing much because H got a bunch of discounts. We are going to the mall tomorrow then Medieval times. Tuesday it is kind of free to hang out and chill. We have a suite so that will be nice for S and let me relax some as well, which I am looking forward to. Then leaving Wednesday to go to the aquarium and back here. I am really excited and so is H so we will see how it goes. It is funny because he told a ton of people about it (our couple friends from church) at the christmas party we went to. That is a good sign because he started to talk to them again. Overall i am excited just to get away and have some time to relax. There is a pool where we are staying, and they have complimentary breakfast. Plus with it being a suite we can bring snacks for S so we don't have to worry about him fussing any time because he wants a certain food. AND...I don't have to worry about a thing. I just get to relax. H will be there to help with S and it will just be a worry free few days. H says he is going to leave his phone here so hopefully he does so there won't be any OW issues.

I am just going to go in this and have fun because after everything the past 8 months, I deserve some pampering. I will probably check this tomorrow morning and then not again until Wednesday night, so I hope all have a great week and I will post you on good or bad when we get back.
