Hey, Kat, how's your weekend going???? Hope the car's running good so you can get spoiled some more...

Thanks for the call last night. Last night was prob. predictably a failure for me; but I guess at least I've learned what I don't like. smile Wish you lived around here!!!

It was good to watch my Jayhawks again. I hadn't got to watch for two weeks as I didn't get the cable channel one game was on and was busy with the car last week. I was yelling up a storm. Play was a tad sloppy in the second half and if Michigan's shots had been falling would have been a much closer game.

Went to the store and had to deal with Walmart because they had a movie there that I planned as a gift. Gee if I loved everything in life with the passion that I despise that place with...

Yes, Karen, I was glad we had our quick chat. Bars are soooo not me. Can't stand the smoke and the noise. I don't drink for the most part so really no need to walk in to one. Hook-ups aren't me either.

I got several presents wrapped. Just a few more to do and I will be done. The boys are going off to spend the night with my parents and the girls will come home tonight for two nights before they head back to their Dad's for 2 more nights.

Divorce sucks for family dynamics.

I'm so glad to hear someone else dreads Walmart! I don't like shopping there but sometimes the price is so good ya just have to and save some $$$. I swear if I use a teller checkout lane they hide my stuff and I end up missing something when I get home. Then I call them and they will find the missing bag at the checkout yet or I should just come in and get a replacement. Well gee, what about when I don't have time to run back to town and get the stuff I bought to make something to take to a party in a couple of hours? ugh!!

Bars, booze, and smoke - sick

Sorry for venting on your thread... I should go home. lol

At least you're making progress on the present wrapping!

You can always vent on my thread. Heck I have had entire arguments/discussions on my thread without me knowing about it until a couple of hours later! lol

I think I am going to go watch a sappy chick flick as torture until the girls get home. I love them but when I get to crying, sometimes more comes out that what the movie calls for.

I am doing pretty good, don't get me wrong, just sometimes seeing ex engaged to OW makes me want to barf. I wasn't looking for it, but it still hurts when you stumble across it. It flashes through my mind that he thought I wasn't good enough for him. At least now I can stop myself and say, "Hey honey, you were NEVER good enough for me".

I think everyone has potential, just that most isn't realized.

Relationships are no different, they require work.

I feel for you, it's hard to put in the effort and not have the desired outcome realized.

Been there to many times...

Hang in there! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Thank you. I am doing better than last year. It has been 3 years since he left and 1.5 years since the divorce. I know I am doing better, I can feel it. Just every once and a while get a rude surprise and I trip a bit. I need to get where It doesn't trip me up.

I am a work in progress!
