You sound great Mindfull. I prefer the brown UGGS anyways. They will match more. You can wear them with anything! And no you are not too old. UGGS can be worn by anybody.

Just back from the game. S12 had 12 points and 7 rebounds. He played about half the game. We won 54-21, so everybody got to play! It's good because this team is so competitive that some boys never see the court, or, MAYBE a minute at the end if we're not down... Luckily, Coach likes S12, and he's really good on defense so he either starts or goes subs in first round. (Not sure if anyone could tell, but: a-I'm an awful loser, and b-I'd be having fits if my kid was one of the ones sitting the bench!)
Coach is a 6'5 250 lb dressed-to-the-nines black man, who LOVES S12's Mom! LoL In fact, we're hosting all of them for a New Year's party (yes, all the players and their families), and Coach can't wait to see what happens when S12's Mom has a cocktail or twelve! LoL I think he's awesome, too. Incredibly strict, taught my son a ton, and the character of Jesus. LOVE HIM!
Anyways... H got there about a quarter of the way in. He had a hard time getting through the Momtourage to sit by me. (We have a great group of parents.) But, we had a fun time. H and I share a really stupid sense of humor. One of the Dad's fell on the last step of the bleachers at the Varsity game last week, broke his wrist, and has a gash on his head. Well, the poor guy is single, and has a cast on the hand that he (obviously) styles his hair with... We both spied this poor man's hair at the same time. H lets out a WHOA, and I turned to him and said, "H, Poor S12 friends Dad, his hair looks like one of those things you wipe your mud off your shoes on!" Anyways... just an example of stupid humor.
H had to go back out of town for work after the game. I took S12 home, and D18 met us here w/S10, as she had to take him to soccer. In the meantime, my BFF showed up w/lettuce wraps from our fave Japanese restaurant (and a bottle of Grey Goose). Her S10 (my S10's bff) had bball practive right by our house so she was creating a party. They just left. Too funny.
H asked about the weekend schedule again tonight. I told him about everything, and he mentioned shopping again. Looks like we're shopping! That can't take five hours, though, right? We'll see what happens! I'll let him lead on this one?

Britt, my D18 is a MAJOR handful, but cute as they come. She comes in the house tonight, as I put her in charge of S10 and soccer.
"MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM, OMG! YOU are NOT wearing UGGS!"
Me: "D18, Yea, what do you think? I feel pretty hot in them!"
D18: "What size are they?"
Me: "MY SIZE"
D18: "I can't believe you're wearing those.":
Me: "Why? It's not like I wear Mom jeans, Naturalizer shoes, and Winnie the Pooh swestshirts!"
D18: "I know, but.... Mom, I wanted those!"
Me: "D18. Get lost. I'm hot now. Wait until you see the HAT!!"
Britt, I could have used the back-up. She's a True Religion jeans, Juicy seatsuit, Ugg boots, Coach purse, Ed Hardy tee and hat kinda girl. Who OBVIOUSLY doesn't think her mom is cool enough. I wanted to tell her, "Hey, I have a 25-year-old friend who thinks I'm highly appropriate! Back off, sistah!"

OK, the boys are going out of town on a Coach bus to a bar mitvah (kids party). They leave at 5, and return at 11. I don't think we'll need to drive them to the bus, or pick them up, but not sure yet... (riding w/neighbors)
No idea of a plan, yet, other than... since H is only really HOME on the weekends, I have been the one to do 90% of the xmas shopping. We need to get their MAIN gifts, and he wants to do it together. So, I'm pretty sure that we'll go xmas shopping, and probably eat dinner out somewhere together.
I'm usually the one to initiate whatever it is we're doing. ST thought I might let him lead, for once...
Ideas? (And, seriously, what am I wearing? LOL)
