However, I am curious as I have been out of the dating pool for a while...is there a rule of thumb on kissing? I am not a big fan of it on the first date b/c that tends to encourage the 'hookup'-hunters out there....beyond that I am clueless.
It took 5 months with bf # 1 (high school) and 6 weeks/5 dates with bf #2 (Dan, also high school). Then there were several first kisses in college, but they were not on 'dates'... just guys I had known all through college and flirted with sporadically, then we kissed after a night at the bar or a party...
