I don't know the geography of alaska...but I do know that phone exchanges don't always ring true to their place...ie..my very own exchange shows up as the town next door...
is it remotely possible that he is where he said he would be? or that he is where he was supposed to be at that time but didn't tell you that it involved being in anchorage and you're jumping to conclusions?
not saying you are...just wondering if there are other explanations for what you think you're seeing.
