Hi, all. Well, all in all it was a nice week. A bit fast. I got a nasty cold. However, we did spend lots of time together and decided on Christmas plans. No trip this year. Told him he could still go by himself to visit his family if he wanted...but we decided in the end to purchase bigger ticket items for the house. We're getting a couple of mission style barcaloungers, a kitchen utility cart, a mission style secretary desk (for the bills and all the mail clutter, yeah!), and a nice mission style magazine rack or two.
Son may get a foosball table for down in the game room...just for a change from all the ps2 and gamecube games.
Anyway, h seems pleased with decision. I told him that I honestly didn't want to go spend time with his relatives so soon after all our probs...and apparently, he understood. I did tell him if he really wanted us to go, that we would go and make the best of it, however.

Oh, yes, are getting some really cool wainscoting for front hallway, too...or maybe anaglypta or lincrusta....haven't totally made our minds up on that one, yet.

So nice to be planning home improvements...as our home life is improving.

I am responsible for my own happiness.

Welcome back. Sounds like nice teamwork on the holiday planning, furniture purchase planning and home improvement planning.

Anaglypta is a textured wall covering.
