I read the news today that former NBA player/all around good guy Chris Dudely is running for governor of Oregon. If he can win, he will go by your knucklehead governor, Chet Culver, as tallest governor in the country. Chris is 6' 11" and I imagine that might break the record for tallest governor ever.
