How long have you been separated?

It's only been 7.5 weeks for me, although I spent 4 months post-PA bomb with W living at home before she moved out (she was physically present, but already emotionally separated). I have a REAL hard time wrapping my head around 2 years. I don't initiate calls/texts to W, but due to S7 living with me, have almost daily brief face-to-face contact.

I'm just now starting to detach a bit. The frequent contact makes this more difficult. Trying to GAL. Luckily, having S7 around keeps me busy. I've got my house in a LOT better shape over this time, played a lot of guitar (still suck, though), participating with son in Cub Scouts, working on a bathroom remodel (slowly), along with other things I fit in on Saturdays when S7 spends the night with W.

This forum is my IC right now. Nothing like a 24/7 group session to bounce your feelings, frustrations and questions off of!
