You are right, it doesn't pay enough compared to my other job to keep it just for the money. So, I'm keeping it for the discounts!
I can do all my drapes and blinds in the house at discount (plus I know the girls in window treatments and they already filled me in about the upcoming sales). Not to mention anything I need to buy for the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, office, etc.
We even sell furniture. I priced out a small china cabinet (about 35" wide and 70" tall) in cottage oak, with my discount, at $299!!!! My kitchen doesn't have a pantry, so my plan is to keep dishes in a china cabinet in the dining room and thus free up cabinet space for food.
