Coach and Greek here ~~~~

Welcome home. Get some rest.

Document as much as possible of your time in the States. When you go out, hang on to receipts. That way, if she continues to lie and say you did such and such, you have a doc which says you were somewhere else.

I'm sure seeing her helped you detach from her. Tired and used isn't attractive.

Stay in touch here.

Glad you had a safe trip SD.

Smart move on calling the sheriff. Now you can call him later as a witness that she is a liar... and to the law none-the-less.

Quote:
Sheriff comes-he talks to both of us-she lies to him saying there is already a rest. order out for me-he runs my name-no order-of course.

DOCUMENT THIS.

Quote:
Get to post, he gives me a no contact order towards my W. No contact-nothing. So I am dark regardless.

Get your lawyer onto this.

Quote:
So, I feel like I have done something wrong.

Nope she just won this round.

Quote:
It broke my heart to hear the things she has said and done to them.

DOCUMENT THIS.
Quote:
I have to tell you I kept my cool around W

EXCELLENT!

Quote:
My S tell me she drinks constantly, driving under the influence. There is so much. Oh, then she just volunteered to me that she had gotten a ticket/charged with open container while driving!!!

DOCUMENT THIS and notify your lawyer. If she carries on with her dirty tricks I'll can show you one or two that I have up my own sleeve.

Quote:
I am not exposing to W family until AFTER I go back overseas. If I do that, she will call my chain immediately.

This is called blackmail. Told you she would try every trick in the book. You're tired right now and are sitting w/o legal counsel. INFORM YOUR LAWYER about this.

Quote:
Well, I am going to sleep, I will write more tomorrow. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers.

Have a good nights rest SD. You need it.

Congratulations on handling this extremely well!

Nice job SD! I hope that you can feel all of us pulling for you back here! Enjoy your time with the boys, and document, document, document... esp the thing about the open container, tsk, tsk.

Good luck, and get as much rest as you can manage while you are here!

ok, well, yesterday was so rough, but I kept my cool.

Had a great day with my boys, but then had to drop them back off at the house. They were sad to go.
Today, I have to get a cell phone-mine is broken. Change lawyer appt, as my son has concert tonight during my appt-hope they can do it. Now that I have no contact order, I am at her whim. If she says anything to anyone on post-I am on the next thing smoking back overseas. So I gotta be careful.

I have so much to do, but not sure where to begin. OM will be contacted by Chain today, but again, no guarantees after hours-them sneaking around etc. - Not that I care anymore-she makes me sick.
I am still very tired, as I tossed and turned all night, slept about 5 hours. Too much on my mind. Will write more later, Thanks all.

Don't let the no-contact spook you. When you are not there to represent your side, a judge is reluctant to issue a RO, but can issue a no-contact to ensure everyone plays nice. It works both ways...if she contacts you in a way that violates the order, she can be arrested. I had a N/C during the worst part of my sitch, and it was actually a relief.
On to something less depressing...I hope you enjoy the blessings of the season with your kids. Glad you are home safe.
Take a deep breath and remember what it's all about, okay? Peace.

SD, So what have you learned?

Was it easier to detach once you saw her?

How great is it to be with your boys?

Did you get that steak yet?

Yes, you do. But the good news is, you're looking better than she is at this point.

Play nice, keep your nose clean, and document everything. Keep any receipts if you go to a movie/restaurant so you can prove your whereabouts; failing that, have your pals take pics of you guys together with their cell phones (so you can remember the good times, of course).

I'm sorry to hear about the irresponsible behavior; blame it on one part fog, one part stress from being the left-behind wife. (And I don't mean that in the DB sense -- as I said earlier, being deployed is hell on a soldier's family.)

I hope you get good news today regarding the OM. Maybe that will start to snap her out of her haze.

Good for you!!!

Enjoy the time with your boys.

She is pulling out the dirty tricks. Document it and keep your cool. You have not done anything wrong, NOR WILL YOU.

Hang in there.

I'm sure the jet lag is kicking your butt right now.

Just have fun with your boys. It may not be up to you who they are with while they are deployed, but that will be coming to an end in a few months and you will be home and in a position to have custody of them. So, again, document, document, document.

You're doing great, SD! Channel your anger and frustration strategically and productively, and use your free time to enjoy your time with your boys to the fullest!
