I LOVE that movie Blazing saddles……………

Ok so after I made sure W was settled in I did go. BUT….. It was not the same. I have to admit a few months ago when the Party date was set I was living the “single married” life and I wanted to go by myself and have a good t time. But somehow these last few months I started living the “almost married” life and was really looking forward to taking my WIFE and dancing the night away. Then she got sick and I could tell she wanted to go but just couldn’t.
The food was great but I was kind of a wall flower. I did however win three raffle prizes...
One was an ice chest on wheels filled with IPA Beer. (A local brewery) the second was another ice chest on wheels but this was filled with Papst blue ribbon beer. And the third was a $10 dollar start buck card.
Soon after the dancing started I went home. Wife was already in bed (her room) but her door was open and she asked me to get her some medicine from the cupboard. I did and then went to bed myself.
This morning I had to leave early to take care of some business and when I got home Wife was up but she said she felt like Krap. She said feel me I think I have a temp. I said “feel you?” grin (I am sorry my mouth went into gear before my brain) she said FEEL MY HEAD… frown I did and she was warm. I asked her if I could get her anything….and she gave me a list of juices and other stuff she wanted from the store. I went to the store and got her things and also bought stuff to make some home made chicken soup. I made the soup when I got home.

I feel bad that I have had some bad thoughts about what happened when I know she is sick. But I am a weak man and my animal desires sometimes take over. Well I got to go I did see W washed some clothes today and they are in the basket in OUR room. So tonight before bed I will fold them.

And if I claim to be a wise man, well
It surely means that I don't know
