On another note, I have two airline pilots in my recovery group at church, who's marriages have suffered and need advice. I might ask you more about that later.
Half joking and half not at all joking, my first piece of advice would to NOT be an airline pilot while trying to be a family guy, M'd, etc. Very few of them pull it off it seems. Not that the D rate across all walks of life isn't high but in that group (as well as some other notable one's) it is extreme. I happen to not be an airline pilot. I fly boxes. Life is a bit simpler with a few shakes less BS.
Thanks for the comments and encouragement my brother. As far as the handling of the skittishness ....long way to go!! For all I know she may not even be moving in (she hasn't yet, but I did only just sign the lease yesterday).
