Coming up on One-Year of DB'ing...

I've had six phone calls from H today.

I called him earlier in the day, seeing if he was making it home for S12's game (since I had to take S10 to a soccer game). He said he wasn't, as the weather had created issues on all of his drivers' runs.

Well, about 2:30, he called... (I didn't pick up. I had met my BFF for a glass of wine, prior to kid pick-up - right across the street from kids' school.)

About 3:10 he calls again, and I answer. He's going to make it back. Wants to know what the plan is...

Calls again... Where is this game? (I already gave him the info on the last call.)

Calls again... Having a hard time locating the school. Me... "It's a new school. Why don't you stop somewhere in the small town and ask?" (I KNOW - MEN DON'T STOP AND ASK DIRECTIONS. THEY JUST TERRORIZE THEIR WIVES RESOURCES! LOL)

Calls after the game... Play by play of S12's game.

Calls again... H says, "I'm like work today, huh?" Me, "Oh, no, I enjoy being your constant redial!" (tongue in cheek, funny) Checking on something S12 had said... making plans for tomorrow, and the weekend.

So, S12 has a bball tournament out of town this weekend, and H wants to get a hotel, and stay there. (Thinks I need to not stress myself w/waking up early, and the driving back and forth, etc...) (I think he wants to be able to sleep, too! Don't blame him after the weather this week...)

D18 was just here for dinner w/two of her girlfriends. (NONSTOP TALK - My God! Are they loud?!?! LOL) They are taking S12 to his soccer game for me. It starts at 8:30, so he won't be done until 9:30, and home near 10. I just can't do it. I don't want to get too tired, and sick again.... She just txt'd me, asking when S12 and his friends started looking like teenagers. "MY GOD, MOM, S12 has some facial hair starting to grow! Ewwwwwwwwwww!" I told her to take a whiff of him after the game if she really wants to be sick!

So, all in all, we're good.
