I wouldn't budge on the alimony because you deserve it. What if the State cuts back? You need to protect yourself and your L should be helping you do that not trying to get you to bargain it away.

Time with the kids is going to be a premium now regardless. Stick to your guns 1 day a week and every other weekend. The kids are going to need more scheduled time than ever now that you are working.
