I am already on some and I think that has helped to this point, but the realization of the D has basically overpowered the drugs

How long have you been on them, and did you find that they helped? Sometimes the prescription needs to change; almost like your body becomes "immune" to them.

I did talk to a couple about a month ago about my situation. This is not going to go in my favor at all due to the circumstances (where I live, where she lives, where I work, finances etc)

I have been on them for about 2 or 3 months now....I think they were helping somewhat. I think I may call and ask to have my dose increased.

The hardest part of all this for me to look past is the difficulty we had in having a child (ended up having to do IVF) and almost 1 year to the day that he came into this life she decides to move on. It is absolutely gut wrenching for me.

Sorry. I know it is hard. I suggest that you read the papers to understand where spouse stands. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO AGREE WITH IT, just understand.

Also, in an earlier post, it sounds like you need more local support. During my sitch, I GAL and made new friends. I now have local support. Possible options are D support groups etc....

R2C, you are right....I definitely need more local support. This is not an easy thing to try and get through on your own, especially around the holidays.

I will be picking up my son today (I will have him tonight and Friday night)....so this will be the first time I have face to face contact with my STBXW since I received the D documents. She always has someone else with her (ie: Mother, Step Dad etc) so that there is no chance of any R talks.

This whole experience has been so surreal.....it is so hard to grasp everything that happened in the last 3 months.

I have no idea how I am going to act in front of my STBXW. I am just SO angry right now at her for doing this to our family and especially right around the holidays.
