Hello all! It has been almost a week since my last post, but I have continued to read and lurk.
Just wanted to update everyone. The last week has been great!! I can't express how things have changed this week. After our conversation on the 29th about his lack of effort in the M, he has turned it around. He is loving, attentive, responsive....everything we should have had in our old marriage.
We have not been as attentive to each other in a long time as we have been this last week. We are also making time for our individual interests more than we used to. He went out to poker night tonight and I went out Friday night with the girls. He almost didn't go out tonight but I told him to get out! LOL!
He is still in the spare room and has expressed an interest in keeping it that way for now. I agree. He has not returned his wedding band yet and does not say he loves me, but his whole demeanor has changed. The way he looks at me is totally different. I am happy no matter where he is now. I am happy when he is home and I am happy when he is gone.
I bought a book "The Anger Trap" today and plan on reading it over the next few days at work. I hope it can shed more light on my issues and help make me even stronger than I already am.
Thank you to everone who has helped me or attempted to help me through the beginning of my marathon. I know we have many many more months if not many years to go. I think we are on a good track for now though.
