Well, not a teaching or school job like I kind of wanted to get, but a medical disability examiner, approving or denying SS disability benefits to people. It's mostly requesting & reading medical records and a little bit of writing they said. I think it's a lot of work, they have quotas, and that's why they pay more. And to get a job with this economy and my 10-year layoff; I think it's pretty good. There is training they provide, lots to learn, and they say it takes 3 to 5 years to really know what you're doing. But the good news is it's learning medical & regulations stuff instead of computer stuff. Whew!
