Trent - no chemical imbalances here. I don't have depression issues or pms or anything like that.
I didn't either until my wife dropped the bomb on me.
The worst that can happen is that a doctor or therapist will agree with you and say you're just down.
Hey trent, one thing to realize is that when we have bombs dropped on us, most of us have a problem eating. When we don't eat, we cause ourselves to have a problem. If your body isn't getting the nutrients it needs to function, you going to be depressed! So the best thing to do is start focusing on what you are doing for your body to take care of it. and just like nutrition, if you don't exercise, get adequate sunlight, that can also do the same thing.
Another thing that can help is B12, and Niacin. And of course, faith.
But this is how I look at things, try to do things naturally first, and if nothing is working, then a last resort is drugs, for a temporary fix. Because the goal is to be well using yourself as the solution, and it is the best way, because your not relying on a crutch, but if all else fails, then a crutch can help get a person back on their feet, and then the goal will be to keep on your feet without the crutch.
