Newcomer, want to keep my hope alive!

Well, tonight was first of my 2 court mandated parenting classes.

The class was full, which was sad to me that there are just so many people that go through this D process, and these are all ones with children.. I wished it were not so, and the thought popped through my head that maybe as a species we were just not supposed to be in life long relationships.

I don't know, but it was just sad to see all those people in this same boat..

And then another thought: There was some dang attractive women there! Oh well, can't think about that either currently. Someday I hope to find someone special who thinks of me the same way..

Well, time to close out another day. I am still reeling a bit from the financial picture that was put in front of me this weekend, but that's not something I can fix tonight. The class tonight was one more step on my path, and for tonight, that's the only step I am going to take.

I am going to grab a cold beer, and watch a little MNF before I head to bed to start on another day tomorrow..

Just checking in on you- we are still moving the remainder of my STBXW's crap out of the house so I haven't had much time to post.

This verbal agreement with your STBXW regarding that mortgage payment is BS. You had an agreement and she turned around and shafted you. I'd definitely talk to your L about that for sure. Unbelievable.

Regarding your feelings durig the parenting class, I hear you. I had similar feelings when I was shopping last week alone at the mall, seeing happy families while Bing Crosby's White Christmas was been played through the speakers. As much as things suck right now, things will get better for us.

Well, I think I have decided it's time to probably move on from the Newcomers thread, and move back to my thread on Surviving the Big D.

I have been out of my house with little to no contact with STBXW for almost 2 months now, D action is in process, etc.

I hope to not loose sight of some of you here on Newcomers though, as I have had many good posts and interaction with you all.

I thank you all for helping me to this point, and hope will keep in touch with you on your threads....
