I don't understand when people who are having an affair, can go to church. I guess they are fooling themselves into believing that it's God sanctioned, or something like that. My H thought that OW was brought to him from God, and it was "meant to be".

Oh well! Have a lovely Sunday, Wii!

Hi!

My dad told me that sinners need to go to church too! That was after me crying to him that Ex & maggot (OW) joined a church right after leaving their spouses. My ex never bothered to go to church before that. He went religiously for about 2 years, much to the dismay of many of my friends and clients who attended that church. But they haven't gone for about 5 years - it was a passing fancy while they were trying to "find themselves".

Wii - guess what? My son got a second job at the ACC. He handles the audio for the Leafs & the Raptors. Makes more at the job (for which he was trained) than at his day job. And he loves it! Could never afford to go to a game - now he gets paid to watch them!

I am in Florida with Josh (post D relationship of 5 years). We are having a great time. He leaves tommorrow but I'm going to Disney with a longtime student of mine who has Down Syndrome. I can't wait!

SFO, I think all Leaf fans should get paid to watch the games!
AS for cheaters who go to church, I think they like to think that they've done nothing wrong and going to church just shows how sure they are that they're gonna be in the big guys good books. It's all part of how we humans can twist anything we want into something we want it to be. I used to think we didn't need things like the Bible to tell us what to do, afterall we're all big boys and girls with brains and consciences but after watching what people do I'm now convinced we do need some kind of direction. We ain't all that bright even though we think we are! grin

Thanks Donna, the last few days I've been feeling some physical energy again. A lot of my problems are based on physical exhaustion, I'm sure. When you're physically down it's hard to fight the demons you held at bay previously. It's amazing how you lose your confidence when you're physically tired. For me, this has been a brand new and disturbing thing. No matter what, I've always felt I would get through it but this virus I had for so long just seemed to knock a lot out of me physically and emotionally. Hopefully I'm rebounding!

Whatisis:

Yeah, I hear you about church. Having a pocket guide to morals and values is great - following it is up to each person. Some, can twist anything to suit their needs. Therein lies the rub!

I went to school with Jay Triano (Raptors coach, former national team coach). It is so cool to hear that my son mikes his interviews these days.

& I thought the leafs won a game last week??? LOL!

The Lord does still perform small miracles!
Wanna hear a good one? In my workplace I was selected to run a group on anxiety reduction! I'm thinking we could start out with an Ativan popping contest or maybe a deep breathing till you barf competition. I'm so anxious to get this going! grin

Do you still want to reconcile with your wife?

Do I want to reconcile with the woman I lived with for the past seven years of our marriage? Nope! If this woman ever showed that she was willing to face up to her own issues and work towards being a loving couple, I might be willing to look at it but I see no indication of that being likely. I'm not waiting for it but I'm also not in a place where I feel comfortable about looking elsewhere at the moment either. That will come. I have a personal anxiety demon to wrestle with for a bit. That's enough for now.

But I think your personal anxiety demon is directly tied to your not letting go of W and moving forward in your life. (No, I don't mean dating.) You are stuck and that is anxiety provoking.
