OK, so I do the shutdown real well... After a few invitation declines from the friends, they all start to sniff out a problem. I know it sucks, and you just feel like wallowing in your "pissedoffness." I say, allow it, but let's not get too comfortable.
Lay off the conversations w/H while he is away. Your house has to be a whirlwind of activity w/three teens, and the packs they travel in. You can't get too deep into the dark with all of that activity!
I need a nail fill and pedicure! (Never got to it Friday!)
I don't recommend snowboarding! It's okay while you're up, but once you fall, it's hard to get your as$ back up!!! (We went, and my H and I couldn't make it a third of the way down this hill. We're sitting there, laughing and pissed, and we hear, FROM WAY ABOVE US, "Hi, Mommy!" MY SIX YEAR OLD is on the chair lift above my head, as he got tired of waiting for us to make it down!)
I'll go back and re-read G's notes. I'm sure he is right. Or, at least offered something constructive at a time of "pissedoffness"!!
LOL Motherof3! We need a stern hand!

After many years w/my head in the sand... I FILED Divorced 6/2011
