Jeff -

Good job on the Wildcats beating the Trojans.

Dont dwell on the past. Anyone can miss a field goal.

The Wildcats were literally about 6 inches from the Rose Bowl, and maybe 12 from 11-1! I think they will be even better next year, but the Pac-10 is going to be murderous. There are a lot of good young QBs that are going to be back next year, and some other really good players, too. I think both Oregon schools, Stanford, USC, and Arizona could all be really good. Cal, Washington, UCLA, and ASU could all be decent. WSU, well... they might be better than they have been!

It was gorgeous! I know, USC isn't what they have been, and I'm not sure they even cared. But when you beat the Trojans in the Coliseum, it's a big deal!

I hope my Bruins bring it next year. We're due for a good one.

I think it is safe to say that there is not a tougher and more competitive conference in college football than the Pac 10.

In NBA Trail Blazer news...I am sick to hear that Greg Oden has just fractured his patella and will miss the rest of the season. And coach Nate McMillan ruptured his achilles when practicing with the team yesterday. You dont hear of coaches getting injured too often in the NBA.
