Could the W position be a WAS or a MLC?

After all the reading I have done, I feel we should not judge or classify the spouse. ("Radical Forgiveness" is a good book to read)

That is just my feeling on the subject. The important thing to do is focus your energy on DOING THE RIGHT THING.

I agree, R2C. MLC, WAS, "script" ~~~ very broad brushes. These terms have their place and I understand how eerily similar some of these situations really are - no question. But getting down to brass tacks about someone requires more than just putting a label on it. And of course we are all just speculating b/c the only one who knows what motivates her is ... your wife. My .02 fwiw...she is suffering with festering pain from your A #1 and yeah. And it all went downhill after that.
