Thanks jak,nc and Doc...

Got back from the dr.s again, they believe he only had a mild case of strep and because of his headaches, he may either have bad allergies or Lyme Disease... Great frown

So he got blood work done and they both got the swine flu shot.

H is off again to Massachusetts until Sunday... this crap happens when he is away... someone is testing me.... Enought with the freakin tests already...

the past 5 days I feel like we have just be strangers living in the house.. with S7 sick I have been overwhelmed with his care, and just trying to do everything else. H has been very distant.

I wish one of my db friends lived close and we could meet for a latte... that would do wonders for me.

I have to get some sleep tonight im going on night number 4 with both of them in the bed with me along with H... S4 won't sleep in his bedroom without his brother... so yup all 4 of us in one bed... good thing its a king size bed!

Well H won't be here tonight, so at least I'll have alittle more room.

I wish I had the money or I would get a sitter for 2 hours and just sit and do nothing...

have a good nite all...

Hey Doc- couldn't live in CA.. too many weirdos... present company excluded of course!!

Hey Irish.

Thought I would share this given the strep talk.

Our son had strep 14 times in 3 years between the ages of 4 and 7. We kept asking the Dr whether he should have his tonsils out. Dr kept saying "not yet".

We finally TOLD the Dr. we were going to see an ears, nose, throat Dr. He said "ok". When we took him to the E.N.T Dr, the first words out of his mouth were "He should have been here two years ago".

Two weeks later, tonsils came out and our now 21 yr old son has not had a single case of strep since. The E.N.T Dr said that with some kids, the strep gets in his tonsils and just sits there and simmers, never really going away and the only way to remedy it is to remove the tonsils.

Additionally, once his tonsils came out, he quit grinding his teeth at night and quit snoring, which the Dr told us would happen.

Something to think about.

((((((Irish)))))

I wish I could enjoy a nice latte or mocha with you. (Right now I am partial to a vanilla skinny latte with Splenda -- I sometimes wish my work place didn't have a barista in the lobby cafe.)

I'd get your S also checked out for allergies too. Those can mimic the flu or other illnesses.

So, how are you doing?
