Last night about midnight I had another heart racing episode. This time, more intense and really scary. I called H, as he had left to go back out of town earlier in the evening.
He helped me through it, and had D18 as a back-up plan to come and get me... Then kept calling back to make sure I was recovering from it. I finally got to sleep about 3am. UGH!
Had an appointment for an ECHO this am, and handled that. My cardiac ablation is scheduled for 12/28. It can't come fast enough.
Felt okay this am (pneumonia is starting to really go away!!), so after the test, I handled one of my goals! I called D18, and invited her and two of her friends to meet me for a Mexican lunch. I haven't caught up with "the girls" in awhile, since they're not here hanging out, always at their Party Palace apartment! Gosh! One laugh after another! Recap of the rear ending, whose boyfriend is "psycho," one has a new job at Victoria Secret, etc... They are all on ALERT if Mr or Mrs MF show up as a call or txt late night, as they may need to come over to stay w/boys and/or drive me somewhere, etc... It was a real smile. I miss them!
(G - Side Note - D18 is experience MAJOR tough love right now... She p*ssed away her Senior Year (they all go to Lutheran schools), and since her grades were only OK, we didn't send her to the university she got into this semester (grades not worthy of 25k in tuition if you're just going to party and have fun!), and put her registration on hold for two semesters. Then, we had some summertime drama, while she was still living at home, because she was less than thrilled w/being 18, and having a CURFEW! So, she and her girlfriends got an apartment, and she registered at the Junior College. Right before she got the apartment, she pitched yet another fit about curfews, and I asked her to take a small bag, and stay w/a friend until her apartment was avail (H could have died! Couldn't believe I actually sent her out in the cold! LOL She went five houses away to a 7000 sq foot house! But, H was proud that I didn't give in to her.) So, since she was nasty, we told her she's on her own w/paying for her apartment and tuition. And, she couldn't have any of her important stuff (laptop, new iPhone, etc...), until I saw evidence that she had registered and paid for school, bought her books, etc... (Didn't want her to p*ss away education). And, we told her that we would pay her tuition BACK if/when she gets a 3.0 at the end of the semester, and would help w/rent if she does better than that.
She's been doing well! Not superb, but well!
We get along so much better. H was/is the ultimate "bud" to her, and I was the ultimate "dud" to her. It is working, and she has a 3.5, going into finals. I'm proud.
But, she's still naughty!!!
So, that was my fun thing for me today. I needed the crazy girl stories and laughs.
