Xh is very liberal, hates guns, "justified" wars, republicans etc etc He goes to Thailand for 6 months/year into an ashram I think they call it, for meditation. He is into tandric sex and loves ALL people in general (except the republicans-LOL)

Have you read "Eat, Pray, Love"? In it, the author goes to an ashram in India and meets up with a man from Texas who sounds a LOT like your xh. Too weird. Two a-typical men from Texas, go figure.
