Just talked to my L. She talked to X's L. He has no witnesses or exhibits prepared for the trial. Just X is going to be the witness in his case. She was saying it might be harmful for me that I don't live in the same county as the kids' schools (my county's schools are F schools). I told her my schedule is flexible, as unemployed now, so that's not a problem for me with picking up the kids. If I did get a job, I would put D10 in afterschool care and pick her up after (most likely any job I would get would be in the same town as her school).
She said X's maxed out all the credit cards. I think he's counting on me getting a job to save the situation to some extent, but as my L told hers, there are qualified people with work experience that have been working the last 10 years that I'm competing against....It's all so sad...
