I emailed STBXW tonight to ask if she took X (hers) when she was at house yesterday pulling perennials. Only asking because several things were moved out of GS,4"s reach on Thanksgiving and I can't find X anywhere.

Well, She called me within minutes - all nice and friendly -rather than email me and told me yes she took it and I was going to leave you a note but I forgot and my God you must have been going crazy trying to locate it after Thanksgiving then went right into another topic and then yet another topic and it took me three attempts to cut it off first before I was finally successful!

Whew!

So, just typical, inexplicable hot/cold alien behavior?

Or response to me not being jerked around about my own truck yet still willing to be generous and accommodate her after she spewed twice that night?

As I said to Serenity, above: Go figger.

Don't be. I'm not. The one mistake I made in that short email to the three of them was to put as the subject line "Short Apology. No reply Necessary" Of course, they could have replied anyway.

But you know what? I'm a good, decent, though flawed man. I was an excellent, loving father to them for 17 years and treated their mother lovingly, respectfully and extremely affectionately for 18 years.

I am not taking this inevitable collateral damage personally. I am not making assumptions as to what they're thinking, saying, or being told.
I will be fine.
And they will be back.
