SD, your bank might have the trucks tag number, or the insurance company most likely would. Maybe you should just call and have it towed from the house to the base, then she wont have to worry her pretty little head about it.
I also think that you have been given some great advice about how to respond so far. And I agree that if she had a real lawyer that was all hers, they would be telling her to not fly off the handle and to let them be the ones to contact you. I know that the WorkLife paid for me to have 4 hours with a lawyer, but that didnt make them MY lawyer.
