Just go w/the flow. No expectations and whatever you do, do not question or point out his new behavior to him. It sounds to me like he's trying to figure out where he belongs in your life right now. He wants to make sure that you are still there waiting on him while he's flying around in OZ. He reminds me of a toddler that wants so desperately walk and run w/o mom's help, but yet, needs to know you are still there.

I really to think you've got a good handle on your situation. Sit back, observe from afar and allow him to come to you. The more he does, the more opportunities you will have to listen to what is on his mind. He feels safe w/you and your family. That's what is very important right now...


Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to.
The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
