You've got a little time on your hands now and need to do something so....get online and start researching lawyers in your area. Use the 'soldier abroad' story ... we're all so appreciative of what you do, no way a lawyer won't break his/her neck to help YOU out. Contact a few of them by email or skype if you can and get a feel for who to see when you get home. Are y'all in east TX by any chance????? You don't have to say - but we're pretty close to there and may know a lawyer or two. (Be careful with identifying info when you answer this question.
