Good that you are doing better and have fun at lunch. The rejection feeling is just so overwhelming at times. When I see W and I remember how certain she is that "she never loved me" it throws all of the happy memories into question.

The birth of our first daughter. How she was there for me when my mom died. Being there for the death of her dad and one of her best friends dying in a motorcycle accident. Moving into our apartment. The trip to Puerto Vallarta. The trip to Vegas.

These are all such great memories and she now says she did not love me. So that gets me down at times and then I try to trust that it's the fog clouding her vision.

Yes, musician college friend. He has opened for "The Nadas" and "Cross Canadian Ragweed" and lots of other random, indie-type bands. He also runs a praise band at his church. And he is a music teacher. Plays acoustic guitar.

Anyway we met at Buffalo Wild Wings (MY choice!)and talked for 2 hours. It was a lot of fun catching up. He was sharing some match stories, as was I. I even told him about you guys (My divorce/dating support team!!)

I was pretty sure we were just there as old friends from college. He was talking about a girl he is casually seeing and I was telling him similar things. It was nice to just hang out and talk.

Would have stayed longer but I need to get going on my guesstimate of the value of our assets, as the attorney wants them Monday.

Well....15 minutes later I get a text from him. "I hope this doesn't weird you out but while we were talking I really wanted to kiss you"--then he said if I was just interested in friendship that was cool, too.

So, that was a nice little PMA boost! Guys will get much farther with little compliments then by texting me pictures of their junk!! wink

His fever is gone! It was 104 on Thursday/Thanksgiving, 101 on Friday, then gone on Saturday.

Trying to decide if there is a link between the fevers and allergy shots. He had a strong reaction last month when he got shots, and then had the fever for 5 days. This time he had a smaller dose but still reacted, then had the fever for 2 days...??

Because he has been reacting, the allergy doc wants to see Nathan on Thursday afternoon. Not sure what he will do, maybe give him the shot and watch to see how he reacts??

I am frustrated today. I told Dan about 3 weeks ago that my atty. wanted/needed to know the approximate value of the things we wrote up in our settlement draft.

Just to review, Dan is NOT gettting an attorney. He said, via email "take whatever you want"... So then we got together and wrote up a draft, back 8 weeks ago when I served him. The atty wants $$ numbers to go with it to make sure it is an 'equitable' distribution.

So after he gave me the notarized receipt last week, I took it to my atty office. He said he wanted those $$ values by today. I told Dan that. Guess what??? He hasn't gotten me any numbers.... frown smirk

So I was up until 4:30 Sat(Sun) tracking down tax returns, paystubs, 401K printouts, etc. Today I am trying to look up Kelly Blue Book values on his vehicles but I don't know the specs beyond year, make, and model so I am getting nowhere. I don't even know his checking or savings balance......

All I can do I guess is get together what I can get together and take that up this afternoon. Again, for someone who is "out" he sure is making this my job to do!!! Grr...

I am going to ask the atty, if Dan doesn't get me numbers, can I just write up a lump sum figure and go with it?? The atty's assistant was there last week when I dropped off the service receipt. It says that if he doesn't reply within 20 days, I get a default judgement. So she said that means I pretty much get whatever I ask for... cool
