I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving. There is something to be said for cutting down of the stress and eggshells!
(((((Mindfull))))) Thank you for the thoughts and prayers!
It looks like S11's team is playing in Phoenix the weekend of Feb. 6. But that doesn't mean I can't get up there some other weekend! I'll have to check the Sun's schedule, maybe I can go up for a game, and go see some youth soccer as well!
Two apple pies in the oven! They won't be the prettiest... I couldn't find big glass pie pans, so they are metal. They are round on the inside, but oblong on the outside, and once the apples were piled up, and the top crust on, it wasn't too easy to see the shape! But I think they will be yummy! Also found out I don't seem to have aluminum foil... so there might be "brown" edges!
I made the crusts from scratch, haven't mastered that, so there are a couple little patches!
Later I'll do the pumpkin, or maybe even in the morning. I'm using store bought crusts for them, so they'll be easy as pie! HA!
OK... after I took the pies out of the oven, I went to local eatery... the friendly hostess was there... she told me about her new boyfriend... I was able to ask her age... I feel creepy. Enough said.
Good for the PMA, but not so good for not being creepy!
Well, now that I have gotten to eat it.... I make a mean apple pie! More cinnamon net time.... but I don't know if it's possible to use enough!
Just had a bit of a sad moment... nothing in particular, just sad. I suppose because tbxw came over today after we are and took things off the walls, now that hers are painted. It's not the ending I wanted..........
((Jeff)) things like getting paintings and pictures down to be moved to another house are dramatic. Of course you "responded" to that... I know you wanted another ending but honestly, I think you never got a chance...
I love apple pies!! LOVE THEM!! Need your receipe. hugs and love, M
