You know its funny you say that I used to feel that way and somewhere I lost that because of all our financial troubles I started to doubt myself. I know that I will get it back and Im proud of myself as a father, husband and a man....

The first time I went away for the weekend, I told my H I didn't know how I would manage without my babies. I told him I didn't know how he did it. He said he was used to being away because he went to work everyday. I think you might be partially right, Britt. It might be easier for some men.

I haven't even had my first time of my kids staying with H and I dread it already.

Ugetvince, you're blessed to have the time with them. You sound like a good dad.

Thank for that...I really feel blessed for my children and I spend everyday and minute that I can with them. I have them all day tomorrow and all try to make every second count!

P.S. I think you should take them when you guys planned. If she wants to keep them longer, then she'll ask. Take the opportunity and advantage of spending the entire day with them!

If you want to, tell her when it is and that she's welcome to come, and leave it at that.

Don't pin any hopes on her being there, but you can give her the opportunity to step up for her son's sake.

She can start learning how the rest of her life will go, if you two get divorced and share custody of the kids.
