I don't know about moose and Driver's ed. I know that moose aren't smart enough to take Driver's ed.

A few years ago I took a motorcycle course for experienced riders (highly recommend it - plus it's worth an insurance discount with some companies) and we had to take a time out while a baby moose and mom walked from one end of the pavement to the other. Neither one of them got credit for the course.
